International Shipping Policy

1. Introduction

This International Shipping Policy explains how VENI SPORTS GLOVES™ (“we”, “us” or “our”), a manufacturer and exporter of goalkeeper gloves in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, ships orders to customers around the world. It applies to samples, OEM and private-label orders and other goods we supply.

Every order is different, so final shipping charges, delivery arrangements and applicable trade terms are confirmed separately for each order in the quotation, proforma invoice or order confirmation. This policy describes our general approach.

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship to customers worldwide. Shipping to a particular country or address depends on the availability of carriers and freight services, export and import regulations, trade restrictions and sanctions, and the information you provide. Some destinations or addresses may not be served, or may require additional documents or arrangements. We will tell you if we cannot ship to your destination.

3. Available Shipping Methods

Depending on the size, value and urgency of your order and the destination, shipment may be arranged by:

  • International express courier for samples and smaller or time-sensitive shipments.
  • Standard courier services for shipments where a more economical courier service is suitable.
  • Air freight for larger shipments that need faster transit than other freight options.
  • Other freight arrangements, such as sea freight, consolidated freight, or a freight forwarder nominated by you, where applicable and agreed for your order.

The shipping method for your order is confirmed in the quotation or order confirmation. Not every method is available for every order or destination.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges depend on the destination, the shipment weight and dimensions, the order quantity, the selected shipping method, and the carrier’s rates and surcharges at the time of shipment. Shipping charges are separate from product prices unless the quotation says otherwise.

Shipping costs are communicated in the quotation or order confirmation. If the shipment details change before dispatch, for example because of a change in quantity, packaging, delivery address or shipping method, the shipping charges may be updated, and we will tell you before we proceed.

5. Production Time vs. Shipping Time

Please note that production time and shipping time are two separate periods.

  • Production time is the time needed to prepare and manufacture your order, including sampling, approvals, materials, production, quality checks and packing.
  • Shipping time is the time the carrier needs to move the goods from our location to the delivery destination, including customs clearance.

Production and delivery estimates may vary depending on the order specifications, the quantity, the materials, the time taken for approvals and payments, and the destination. Any production schedule we give you is stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Courier transit times are set by the carrier and are not controlled by us.

6. Order Processing and Dispatch

After production is completed and the goods have passed our quality checks, we pack the order and prepare the shipping documents, such as the commercial invoice and packing list, and any other export documents agreed or required by law. We then hand the shipment to the carrier or to your nominated freight forwarder.

Dispatch is subject to receipt of the payments due under the payment terms agreed for your order, to the availability of complete and correct delivery details and documents, and to compliance with applicable export regulations. We will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched.

7. Shipment Tracking

Where the carrier provides tracking, we will send you the tracking number, air waybill, bill of lading or other shipment reference by email after dispatch. Tracking information is provided by the carrier, and the level of detail and the speed of updates depend on the carrier and the shipping method. Some freight services provide limited tracking.

8. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times given by us or by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by customs inspections and clearance, carrier operations and capacity, weather, public holidays, strikes, security measures, incomplete or incorrect address details, and other circumstances outside our control.

We do not state fixed delivery periods in this policy because they vary by destination, shipping method and order. If an estimate is given in your quotation or order confirmation, it is an estimate and not a promise of a delivery date.

9. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Clearance

Goods shipped internationally may be subject to import duties, value-added or sales taxes, customs clearance and brokerage fees, handling, storage and other charges in the destination country. Subject to the delivery terms agreed for your order and applicable law, you are responsible for these destination-country charges and for completing import clearance.

We recommend that you check the import rules, product classification, duty rates and any licenses, registrations or labeling requirements of your country before ordering. Please give us the importer, tax or registration details your customs authority requires. Delays or additional costs caused by missing or incorrect information, or by a customs authority’s decision, are not caused by us. We cannot predict the amount of duties and taxes charged by customs authorities.

10. Customer Delivery Information

You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate delivery information, including the consignee’s name, full delivery address with postal code, a contact person and telephone number, and any importer, tax or customs identification numbers required for clearance. Please check these details carefully in your quotation and order confirmation. Changes after dispatch may not be possible and may involve additional charges.

11. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Addresses

If a delivery fails because the address is incorrect or incomplete, nobody is available to receive the shipment, the shipment is refused, or import duties, taxes or customs requirements are not met, the carrier may hold the shipment, try again, or return it to us.

Costs resulting from these circumstances, such as re-delivery, storage, demurrage, return shipping and re-shipment, are generally the customer’s responsibility, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law. We will help you resolve the situation where we can.

12. Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Shipments

If your shipment is delayed, appears to be lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us at sales@venisportsgloves.com as soon as possible. For visible damage or missing cartons, we ask that you report it preferably within 7 calendar days after receiving the goods, and that you:

  • note any visible damage or shortage on the carrier’s delivery receipt, where possible;
  • keep the goods, cartons, packaging and shipping labels;
  • send us photographs, and videos where appropriate, together with your order number and tracking number.

Where a claim is needed, we will cooperate with you and the carrier or insurer in the investigation. Who bears the risk of loss or damage in transit depends on the trade terms agreed for your order (see the section “International Trade Terms”). Under some terms the claim is made against the carrier or insurer arranged by the buyer. We handle reported issues in line with our Return & Refund Policy. We cannot guarantee that a claim will be accepted by a carrier or insurer.

13. International Trade Terms

Our quotations may refer to international trade terms (Incoterms® rules published by the International Chamber of Commerce) that explain who arranges and pays for transport and who bears risk at each stage. Unless a quotation states otherwise, terms are understood in line with Incoterms® 2020. The terms below are described in general terms.

  • EXW (Ex Works): we make the goods available to you at our premises or another named place. You arrange and pay for loading, transport, export and import clearance, and you bear the risk of loss or damage from the point the goods are made available. Where requested, we may help with export formalities at your risk and cost.
  • FOB (Free On Board): used for sea and inland waterway transport. We deliver the goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment and clear them for export. Risk passes to you once the goods are on board, and you pay for the main carriage and import clearance, and for any insurance you choose to arrange.
  • DAP (Delivered at Place): we arrange the transport and deliver the goods to the named place of destination, ready for unloading. We bear the risk until then. You are responsible for unloading, import clearance, and import duties and taxes.

These terms are not automatically available for every order, product, quantity or destination. The agreed quotation and order confirmation determine the shipping arrangement that applies to your order, including the trade term, the named place or port, who pays for each part of the transport, and when risk passes. If a quotation does not mention a trade term, please ask us to confirm it before you place your order.

14. Bulk and OEM Shipments

Bulk and OEM orders are generally packed in export cartons and may be shipped by air freight, sea freight or another freight arrangement, as agreed. Depending on the order, shipment may be made in one consignment or in several, if agreed with you. If you use your own freight forwarder, please give us their details in good time so that we can coordinate pick-up, documents and dispatch.

For OEM and private-label shipments, cartons and packing documents are prepared in line with the specifications you confirmed, including any carton marks, labels or barcodes that were agreed for your order.

15. Packaging and Shipment Preparation

Goods are packed according to your confirmed order specifications, which may include polybags, glove bags, retail boxes, hangtags, barcodes and export cartons. We pack shipments with reasonable care for international transport, and we record the weight and dimensions of cartons for the carrier. Packaging that is customized with your branding is described in your order confirmation.

When you receive a shipment, please inspect the cartons before accepting them and note any visible damage on the carrier’s receipt where possible.

16. Shipping and Refunds

Shipping charges are generally not refundable after the shipment has been dispatched, except where the shipping issue was caused by our error, where we agree otherwise in writing, or where the law requires a refund. Whether shipping charges are included in a refund is assessed case by case under our Return & Refund Policy. Customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges paid in the destination country are not refunded by us.

17. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to ship or deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government actions, export or import restrictions, sanctions, border or port closures, carrier or airline disruption, port congestion, and failures of power, transport or communication systems.

If such an event affects your order, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and work with you to find a practical solution, which may include a revised schedule. If the event continues for a long period, we may agree with you on other arrangements, including cancellation in line with the agreed terms.

18. Policy Updates

We may update this International Shipping Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The shipping terms confirmed in your quotation or order confirmation apply to your order.
