PALM & LATEX ENGINEERING

Select the palm. Define the performance.

VENI develops goalkeeper gloves around a palm portfolio that spans German, PK and China latex sourcing, so each project can be matched to its performance level and target price. Latex origin is a sourcing category, not a performance ranking: actual grip and durability depend on the compound, foam density, thickness, surface treatment and manufacturing quality.

  • Quartz
  • Aqua / Cyclone
  • Hyper Grip
  • Contact-Lite

PK / China latex

  • High Foam
  • Super Low

  • China Latex
  • Lightweight
  • Ultra Soft
  • Hard-Ground
  • Entry-Level

Palm thickness

  • 2 mm — thin, lightweight or entry-level construction
  • 3 mm — training and thinner-palm options
  • 3.5 mm — mid-range and selected match constructions
  • 4 mm — common performance-palm specification
  • 5 mm — thicker foam construction
  • 7 mm — specialized thick construction

Palm latex is sourced from suppliers; latex formulation is not manufactured in-house. Custom palm specification is available on request.

FINGER CUTS & CONSTRUCTION

Ten constructions for OEM development

The first four are the main traditional cut families; the others are variants and hybrid constructions. Each construction is defined in the technical drawing.

01

Flat Cut (Regular / Traditional)

Palm joined to the finger gussets with an external-seam construction. Roomier fit and straightforward to manufacture.

02

Negative Cut

Finger seams sewn on the inside for a close-fitting construction and direct ball feel.

03

Roll Finger / Gunn Cut

Latex wraps around the fingers, creating a rounded profile and extensive latex contact.

04

Hybrid Cut

Combines two or more finger constructions, commonly negative and roll-finger elements.

05

Negative Roll Cut

Close-fitting negative-style construction with rolled latex on selected fingers.

06

Half-Negative Cut

Negative seams combined with external-seam construction in selected areas; defined in the technical drawing.

07

Roll-Negative Hybrid

Roll-style construction on selected fingers and negative seams on others; fingers specified per design.

08

Extended Palm / Side-Wrap

Palm latex extends around the sides of the hand or thumb for added coverage; can combine with another cut.

09

Double Thumb-Wrap

Latex wraps around additional areas of the thumb for expanded coverage; a thumb feature, not a full cut family.

10

Expanded Flat / Negative Hybrid

Flatter or expanded palm area with negative-style finger seams; pattern defined with your glove designer.

WRIST & CLOSURE SYSTEMS

Custom sizing and size grading are available for any market, developed around your size chart and the project requirements. Please share your target market, size run, preferred cut and fit, your size chart or pattern if you have one, and the quantity per size.
